Children of the Great Mountains are born with the spirit of a warrior. This April, the TYFC "Bright Future Fencing Program" is honored to embark on its second mission, bringing the sport of fencing to the misty highlands of Siangbi Elementary School in Tai’an, Miaoli.

In an urban setting, fencing is often seen as a refined sport. However, in the heart of the Atayal Tribe, we view it as a profound dialogue between Modern Chivalry and the Ancient Atayal Warrior Spirit.

- Leaving No Child Behind

Our mission at Siangbi is unique: we are committed to serving the entire school. From Grade 1 to Grade 6, all 45 students will have the opportunity to pick up a blade. By involving every single student, we ensure that the spirit of confidence and discipline permeates the whole campus, creating a shared experience that strengthens the entire community.

At TYFC, our contribution goes beyond providing professional equipment. Our goal is to ignite a boundless imagination for what is possible. By introducing the discipline and grace of fencing, we empower these young future athletes to:

• Build Unshakable Confidence: Developing focus and resilience through every bout.

• Bridge Cultures: Connecting traditional indigenous values with international sporting standards.

• Expand Horizons: Turning the fencing blade into "wings" that allow them to see the world beyond the mountain peaks.

Witnessing the spark of determination in the eyes of these young Atayal warriors is the fire that drives our team to cross every valley and scale every peak.
